Table with Weels

The Fontana Arte Table with Wheels is a stunning design piece that encapsulates the essence of innovation and functional beauty. Designed by Gae Aulenti, this coffee table was inspired by an industrial trolley used at the FontanaArte plant for transporting glass. Aulenti took this everyday object and transformed it into an elegant piece of furniture, preserving its original functionality while elevating its design to an iconic status.

Crafted with a thick beveled glass tabletop, this table is a homage to the glass production heritage of FontanaArte. The robust, industrial wheels allow for easy movement, enhancing both its practicality and aesthetic appeal. Aulenti’s design brilliance shines through the simplicity of the transformation, replacing the wooden shelf of the original trolley with glass brings a new level of sophistication to the piece, making it a timeless addition to any modern living space.

Perfect for those who appreciate both form and function, this table combines industrial inspiration with high-end design, offering a unique piece that seamlessly fits into any contemporary interior.
