The Poltrona Frau Sanluca Armchair, designed in 1961 by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, is a revolutionary piece that redefines the traditional approach to armchair design. By stripping away excess padding, the designers exposed the essential curves required to provide optimal ergonomic support, resulting in a chair that is both visually striking and exceptionally comfortable. The Sanluca Armchair features a bold, sculptural profile that has become a symbol of Italian design history. The Sanluca can be paired with the Luca ottoman, designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1991, for an even more luxurious seating experience.
