Round porcelain catchall tray, hand-decorated with a horizontal band depicting Lina Cavalieri’s eyes in black and white.
A cropped view of Fornasetti’s muse becomes the focus of a striking, minimalist composition, where the graphic contrast heightens the mystery of the face. A variation from the celebrated Tema e Variazioni series, conceived in 1952.
Made in the Fornasetti Atelier in Milan. Minor variations between similar pieces attest to the uniqueness of each creation.
