When Riva’s pursuit of perfection and passion for refined craftsmanship meet the timeless charm of one of the world’s oldest games, the result is an extraordinary creation that delights both the eyes and the mind. With origins dating back nearly 6000 years, Backgammon is reimagined through Riva’s unmistakable style, becoming a celebration of design, elegance, and tradition.
Riva Backgammon has been conceived and perfected with meticulous attention to every detail, embodying the brand’s mastery of artistry and innovation. Crafted from mahogany, maple, steel, and leather, this exceptional piece is available in two versions, each distinguished by its materials and sophistication. Every element has been carefully “forged” to create a true design masterpiece that elevates the world’s most iconic game.
Even when not in use, the box becomes an exquisite showcase of craftsmanship, featuring the Riva logo inlaid in steel or, in the more luxurious edition, an extraordinary “transparent” inlay. The dice and counters, in white and aquamarine with mahogany inlays, along with the mahogany and maple dice shaker, reflect the same precision and artistry found aboard Riva’s most celebrated yachts.
Regardless of who wins, players will be captivated by the timeless beauty and elegance of this piece, an object that entertains, enhances, and inspires, embodying the enduring spirit of Riva.
