Homage to Mondrian

The Homage to Mondrian Cabinet by Cappellini, designed by Shiro Kuramata, is a tribute to the iconic abstract expressionist painter Piet Mondrian. This striking piece of furniture transposes Mondrian’s famous geometric compositions onto wood, offering a unique blend of art and design. The cabinet is available in two matte lacquered versions, featuring a bold palette of black, white, blue, red, and yellow, reflecting the artist’s signature style.
Each door and drawer is of varying size, allowing for versatile storage options, while the overall design maintains a sense of formal purity and balance. Equipped with wheels, the Homage to Mondrian cabinet is not only visually captivating but also highly functional, making it a perfect addition to both art-inspired and contemporary interiors.
