Timeless Art Deco elegance from one of Germany’s most prestigious porcelain makers. This magnificent antique dinner service was crafted by the renowned Krautheim & Adelberg factory in Selb, Bavaria—the historic heart of German porcelain manufacturing—and dates back to the refined era of the 1930s/1940s. The crisp, white porcelain serves as a perfect canvas for a highly sophisticated, Art Deco-inspired pattern: a delicate, continuous black scrolling garland punctuated by striking medallions that frame a stylized, golden basket of flowers. Fine gold gilding graces the rims, handles, and finials, adding a touch of understated luxury. What makes this set truly exceptional is its extensive composition. It is designed as a service for 8, but features a rare double set of dinner plates (16 in total), allowing for seamless multi-course hosting. Along with extra soup and dessert plates, the set includes a spectacular array of serving pieces, from a majestic covered tureen to elegant compotes and nested oval platters.
