Capitol Complex Chair with arms

The Cassina Capitol Complex chair, part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, is a symbol of modernist simplicity and architectural elegance. This chair is one of the most recognizable pieces from Chandigarh’s Capitol Complex, specifically designed for the offices within the Secretariat building. The chair’s solid wood structure, highlighted by the inverted “V” shaped side bars, is a testament to Jeanneret’s innovative approach to functional yet stylish furniture design. Cassina’s reissue of this timeless design is available in three finishes: classic teak, natural oak, and stained black oak, each enhancing the chair’s minimalist aesthetic while preserving its historical significance. Perfect for both contemporary and classic interiors, the Capitol Complex chair embodies a blend of tradition and modernity, offering a piece of design history for the home or office.
