Bilia Table Lamp

The Fontana Arte Bilia Table Lamp, designed by the renowned Gio Ponti in 1932, stands as a testament to his mastery of balance and form. This iconic table lamp is composed of two simple yet striking geometric shapes—a perfectly balanced sphere atop a conical base. This seemingly impossible feat of equilibrium is one of Ponti’s signature design innovations, creating an object that is both architecturally precise and visually captivating.

Crafted from non-reflective materials, the Bilia Table Lamp is celebrated for its unpretentious design, which is enriched by the perfect proportions of its forms. The light emitted from the sphere is softly diffused, accentuating the geometrical purity of the lamp and making it an ideal addition to any space that values minimalist elegance.

FontanaArte has reimagined this timeless design with the introduction of the Bilia Mini, featuring a vibrant array of “spray colours,” bringing new life to Ponti’s classic vision. This versatility in size and color allows the Bilia Table Lamp to seamlessly integrate into various interior styles while maintaining its iconic presence. The combination of classic design and modern chromatic options ensures that this lamp remains both a functional and artistic statement piece for contemporary interiors.
