EA 217 is part of the office swivel chairs in the Soft Pad Group by Charles and Ray Eames. The extraordinary comfort of the chairs results from the combined effect of their tilt mechanism, which can be adjusted to the user’s weight, and the soft fabric- or leather-covered upholstery.
