Softcage | Outdoor Armchair

The B&B Italia Softcage Outdoor Armchair, designed by the renowned Mario Bellini, is riginally inspired by a 1975 project. This iconic outdoor armchair reimagines the use of rattan, a material that Bellini helped revolutionize in the world of high-end furniture design. Today, B&B Italia breathes new life into this classic piece, preserving the elegance of handwoven rattan while enhancing it with contemporary touches to meet modern demands for both comfort and style. B&B Italia’s Softcage collection, which includes both sofas and this exquisite armchair, offers a variety of rattan finishes and an extensive selection of fabrics, allowing customization to fit any outdoor setting. The Liz Silhouette pattern further elevates the design, adding a subtle yet sophisticated visual texture that complements the organic beauty of the rattan structure.
