The Lord Yo Chair by Driade, designed by Philippe Starck, is a true icon in the world of contemporary outdoor furniture. Originally conceived as a simple polypropylene easy chair with an aluminum structure, it has since evolved into a design masterpiece that is instantly recognizable. With its soft curves, raised back, and slightly bent legs, the Lord Yo exudes a regal air, almost like a modern-day throne.
Philippe Starck’s genius lies in the ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, and the Lord Yo Chair is a perfect example of this. The chair’s bold design, with its distinctive silhouette, is further enhanced by the option of a white slipcover that, rather than concealing the form, accentuates its unique shape.
