Bianca Table Lamp

The Fontana Arte Bianca Table Lamp, designed by Matti Klenell, embodies the finest elements of modern Italian design and traditional craftsmanship. As part of the Bianca family of luminaires, this table lamp is notable for its elegantly textured diffuser. The surface is adorned with delicate grooves etched into the white glass, creating a visual effect that evokes the delicate imprints of footprints on freshly fallen snow.

Each diffuser is meticulously handcrafted using the traditional Venetian mouth-blowing technique, belt sanding, and acid dipping to achieve the iconic “silk effect.” The Bianca series offers a variety of sizes, and the largest diffusers, with a diameter of 50 cm, present a challenge even for expert glassmakers. This is due to the complexity of shaping the glass without external tools, relying purely on skill and lung capacity.

Finished with a matt white coating that harmonizes with the diffuser, the table lamp integrates seamlessly into any sophisticated interior space. Its light is soft, diffused, and inviting, enveloping its surroundings in a warm glow that is perfect for both intimate and open spaces. Whether placed in a living room, study, or bedroom, the Fontana Arte Bianca Table Lamp is a statement piece that combines timeless design with functional elegance.
