CH88P Chair

The CH88P Dining Chair by Hans J. Wegner exemplifies his exploration of materials and minimalist design. Originally developed as a prototype for the Helsingborg Exhibition in 1955, the chair was first produced by Carl Hansen & Søn in 2014, marking a significant moment in the legacy of Danish design. Wegner’s ability to blend materials like wood, steel, and upholstery is showcased beautifully in this chair, which combines form and function with timeless elegance.

The CH88P Chair’s stackable construction is a testament to its versatility and functionality, making it ideal for both residential and commercial settings. Its steel frame provides a sleek, industrial touch, while the wooden backrest and seat lend warmth and comfort to the design. For added luxury and comfort, the CH88P is available with a seat upholstered in premium leather or fabric, giving it a softer and more cushioned feel. This flexibility allows the chair to fit seamlessly into a variety of spaces and decors.
