Cicognino

The Cassina Cicognino, designed by the renowned Franco Albini, is a charming and iconic small table that combines minimalism with playful functionality. Dubbed “little stork” due to its distinctive shape, this side table stands out with its clean lines and refined design. Albini’s approach reduces the structure to its essentials: three slender legs, a 40cm diameter tabletop, and a wooden trim that gives it the appearance of a tray.
One leg extends beyond the tabletop, forming a convenient handle, making the table easy to move from room to room. This unique detail, combined with the table’s perfect balance and stability, makes Cicognino not only functional but also an elegant addition to any living space. Whether as a standalone piece or paired with other furnishings, its witty yet familiar design adapts effortlessly to both contemporary and traditional interiors.
