DESCRIPTION
At the end of your street
Pleasant, familiar, primordial: the smell of wet earth after a dry spell.
Imagine the moment: it hasn’t rained in eight years, we go out for a walk.
A raindrop falls, kissing the concrete.
What a wonderful scent.
A minute later it starts to pour.
Might as well take it home, the scent of petrichor.
