A superb showcase of early 20th-century French cabinetmaking and exceptional versatility, this rare matching pair of open-tier side tables introduces a warm, layered material complexity to curated contemporary spaces.
Designed with an elegant dual-level architectural structure, each table is crafted from rich solid walnut, balanced by a lower drawer face veneered in beautifully figured, deep-grained burl wood. The open tiers are held together by classic ring-turned columns that deliver a light, airy silhouette without sacrificing structural strength. Adding to their functional luxury, each unit features an integrated pull-out wooden slide hidden beneath the main top—operated by small metal ring handles—and rolls gracefully on its original, patinated brass wheel casters. Whether styled as sculptural nightstands flanking a high-end bed or as dynamic side tables alongside a mid-century sofa layout, their glowing, authentic amber patina brings an immediate sense of historical depth and visual narrative.
