Pair of Antique Pierced Iron Garden Chairs in Mint Green (1920s/1950s)

A highly romantic pair of iron garden chairs, perfectly marrying early 20th-century elegance with mid-century pastel charm. Originally designed in the classic 1920s-1930s European bistro or “ice cream parlor” style, these chairs feature beautifully ornate backrests and striking circular seats pierced with a decorative floral sunburst pattern. Sturdy and elegant, the frames are supported by curved cabriole-style legs unified by a structural ring stretcher. The chairs are coated in a thick, beautifully weathered mint green paint—likely a 1950s update to match contemporary outdoor trends. The heavy patina, chipping paint, and exposed iron add a profound wabi-sabi character to the set. They are a delightful seating option for a small balcony, a romantic garden corner, or as eclectic accent chairs in a sunroom.
