The Cassina Kangaroo Armchair by Pierre Jeanneret is a low-profile, iconic piece that fuses European modernism with Indian tradition. Part of the Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, this armchair is known for its unique “Z”-shaped sides, composed of three continuous triangular elements. Originally crafted for Chandigarh’s General Hospital Hall, it features a Vienna straw-woven seat and backrest framed in quality wood, available in classic teak, natural oak, or black-stained oak. Handcrafted in Cassina’s workshops, this armchair combines minimalist design with rich heritage, making it a versatile addition to any sophisticated space.
