The black-and-white porcelain candle features two interpretations of Lina Cavalieri’s face: on one side, a finger pressed to her lips calls for silence; on the other, a golden veil conceals her gaze. A play of mystery and allusion that belongs to the universe of Tema e Variazioni, the series in which Piero Fornasetti has reinterpreted the soprano’s face since 1952.
Once the wax has burned away, the porcelain vessel takes on a new purpose, continuing its life as a decorative and collectible object.
The Frutto Proibito fragrance opens with citrus notes of bergamot, blood orange and Sicilian grapefruit. At its heart, jasmine and tuberose meet a base of vanilla, oakmoss and woods.
