Rectangular porcelain catchall tray, hand-painted with a black-and-white hand adorned with rings and jewellery against a gold background.
A design from the 1950s that plays with illusion, blurring the boundary between image and object. Decoration and function overlap in a refined trompe-l’œil, making it a piece to collect or give as a gift.
Made in the Fornasetti Atelier in Milan. Minor variations between similar pieces attest to the uniqueness of each creation.
